Spat Revolution
Built around Spat~, Spat Revolution is an object-based immersive mixing suite that gathers the underlying technology's full range of spatialisation techniques, including VBAP, DBAP, HOA and binaural rendering, into one production-ready package. It can accept virtually any number of audio inputs and outputs, limited mainly by the host computer's own capabilities, and supports industry-standard HRTF files in the AES-69 SOFA format for tailoring binaural playback to individual listeners. The suite comprises a standalone application alongside plugins for integration with major DAWs.

Spat Revolution grew out of a partnership between the French company FLUX:: and IRCAM's Acoustic and Cognitive Spaces team, a collaboration stretching back to 2008 and aimed at bringing decades of the institute's spatial audio research into a tool built for everyday production work. The software launched in 2017 and was recognised that same November with the public award in the post-production category at SATIS in Paris. It has continued to evolve since, with ongoing service releases adding features such as the SPAT Send plugin and an expanded snapshot-recall system.
