Allaeldene Ilou

Allaeldene Ilou is a researcher specializing in media, with a major focus on sound. His research is grounded in both empirical inquiry and professional experience, embracing diverse mediums and interdisciplinary frameworks. He seeks to craft approaches to media and contextualize information by integrating interdisciplinary perspectives blending media and the humanities. As a co-founder of HCM, he pursues research exploring the intricate relationships between sound and image in audiovisual installations, film, television, and theatre. He also collaborates with Cashmere Radio, curating the program Zaafran Caravan. For seven years, he worked as operations manager with the Moroccan orchestra known as Master Musicians of Joujouka.
