Audio Brewers Spatial plug-ins
Audio Brewers Spatial Plug-ins is a set of plug-ins for extensive processing of HOA/binaural/Atmos audio material. Encoders, decoders, imagers, delays and more, compatible with most major DAWs on macOS and Windows with versatile options and comprehensive documentation. The range covers everything from a free entry-level ab Decoder Light through to ab Decoder HOA for 2nd- and 3rd-order material and the full ab Decoder Suite, alongside tools such as ab Imager for reshaping, resizing and upscaling signals up to 7th-order Ambisonics, ab Astrometry Delay for multi-tap three-dimensional delay, and further spatial effects including chorus, phaser and pitch shifter, each offering independent control per dimensional plane. Every plug-in shares the same design philosophy, plug-and-play simplicity backed by a constant, automatic troubleshooting algorithm that keeps the signal flowing, alongside a cross-OS, cross-DAW preset system for moving, copying and sharing settings. Outputs cover Stereo, Surround, Binaural and Atmos beds, or any custom speaker-array configuration through Ambisonics decoding, and the plug-ins work in any DAW that supports wider-than-stereo tracks, including Nuendo, Cubase Pro, Pro Tools Ultimate, Logic Pro and Reaper.

Audio Brewers built out its spatial plug-in range steadily through 2023 and 2024. The company's first release in this space was Elegance, a grand piano sampled in Ambisonics for Stereo and Dolby Atmos, made for Kontakt, in March 2023, followed in May 2023 by ab Imager, a plug-in for reshaping, resizing and upscaling audio signals to 3rd-order Ambisonics. Later that year came ab Transcoder for converting A-Format Ambisonics recordings to B-Format, and two spatial modulation effects, ab PitchShifter and ab Phaser, each offering independent dimensional plane control. Development continued into 2024 with ab Astrometry Delay, a multi-tap three-dimensional delay for stereo, Dolby Atmos and other immersive productions, ab Chorus with independent chorus controls per spatial dimension, and, most recently, ab Visualiser HOA for visualising Ambisonic sound fields.
