360pan suite
360pan suite is a commercial plug-in suite for immersive and 360 video audio workflows on macOS and Windows, focused on AmbiX ambisonics production up to third order. It provides panning, monitoring, convolution reverb, limiting, source visualization, ambisonics rotation, and format conversion utilities, with direct control in the DAW video window. A distinctive "position blur" control lets engineers trade off between a genuine stereo sensation and stable, headlocked mono, since true headlocked stereo isn't physically possible within the Ambisonic sphere itself. The package is designed for workflows in Pro Tools HD/Ultimate, Reaper, Nuendo, and Cubase, with iLok-based licensing and dedicated templates/manuals for delivery pipelines, and comes from Audio Ease, the company best known for Altiverb, widely regarded as the first commercially available convolution reverb plugin.

Audio Ease first released the 360pan suite in September 2016 as a dedicated set of tools for immersive audio, at a time when platforms like Facebook were beginning to require at least second-order Ambisonics for 360 video content. Version 2.0 followed in July 2017, adding an Ambisonics convolution reverb to the suite, and the software has continued to be maintained since, reaching version 3.1 in July 2019. The current version 3 runs on Apple Silicon Macs via Rosetta 2 rather than natively, unlike the company's other flagship products, Altiverb, Speakerphone and Indoor, which have all since been rebuilt as universal binaries.
